07 Known for her tender lighting and complex imagery, New York native photographer Carrie Schechter creates art which pushes boundaries, both in her narrative and editorial projects. She works in varying fields, ranging from promotional photography to cinematic surrealism. Her photography is described as the fusion of innocence and temptation. Despite the intensity of her work, she has been described as "light," "original," with "never-ending energy" on set by her clients, constantly bringing a "great vibe" to her surroundings. Carrie’s poignant and intricate work has been distributed in magazines, newspapers, books, ad campaigns, and album covers. She has won numerous international awards and has been showcased in exhibitions around the world – notably in Moscow, Italy, Paris, London, Los Angeles, New York, Dubai, and Hong Kong. In her spare time, Carrie enjoys (and teaches) kickboxing, anything outdoors, drinking yerba mate tea, and having adventures around the globe. You might have even seen her as an extra on the day time soap opera as well as some other tv shows. She currently splits her time between California & Brooklyn, where she continues to work with clientele as well as produce personal work.
